Sorry we’re a day late with our weekly update, the weekend moved fast! While last week wasn’t packed with major construction, we made some solid progress that’s really starting to shape the venue. This week, things are expected to pick up even more.

Bathroom & Bridal Room Updates

Last week, Koch Painting finished priming the bathrooms and bridal rooms. This step gets everything ready for the next phase, and Daulton Construction is scheduled to begin tile installation this week. We’re excited to see how the tile completely transforms the look and feel of the bathrooms.

Landscaping Progress on the North Patio

On Friday, Rock N Edge Landscaping leveled and backfilled the new flower beds on the north end of the barn using black stone. Once the rain settles in, the stone will deepen in color, making the landscaping look even sharper.

Saturday was spent working on lighting and flowers. Cody cut the can lights into both bathrooms, which required climbing into the warm attic to connect the junction box, not the easiest job, but worth it. After that, we planted flowers from Dutch Mill Greenhouse and Miller’s Country Gardens. The finished beds really complete the look of the north patio.

Lighting & Final Touches

On Sunday, both light fixtures in the bride’s room were installed, and they truly pop. You can now start to see the room coming together with style and comfort in mind.

The grass we planted a few weeks ago is also filling in nicely. With some warm weather ahead, the wet spots should dry out soon, and we’re hoping to be ready to mow by the end of the month.

Each week brings us closer to creating a beautiful and functional wedding venue experience.
