We’ve officially crossed a big milestone at The Grange Hall our interior barn metal is finally complete, and just in time! This past week was packed with construction, detailed cleaning, and our very first bridal showers with the inside of the barn fully finished.
From early mornings with contractors to welcoming our first events indoors, it’s been an exciting and rewarding stretch for our team.
Construction Progress Inside the Barn
Bathrooms & Bride Room Drywall
Our week kicked off Tuesday when Dry Lane Construction from LaRue arrived to drywall the bathrooms and bride room. They worked daily to get everything installed and are returning for final sanding so we can move forward with tile and paint.
Interior Metal & Window Wraps
At the same time, the Amish building crew returned to finish hanging the interior metal and wrapping the windows. By Thursday morning, their trailer rolled out for the final time, marking the completion of one of the biggest phases of the build.
Stairway Staining & Final Touches
Koch Painting finished our stairway by staining it black to match our décor. Trimmed with white metal on the outside, the stairway now truly pops and adds character to the interior barn space.
Deep Cleaning Before Our First Events
Once the crews moved out, it was time for a full deep clean. We ran the floor sweeper over the concrete several times and, with help from friends and family, cleaned glass doors and windows throughout the barn.
After the final touches, we were officially ready to welcome guests indoors.
Bookings & Bridal Showers
Wedding Booked for 2023
Friday night brought exciting news, we toured and booked our 14th wedding for 2023. Even better, we’re now officially sold out for June weekends next year.
First Indoor Bridal Showers
Saturday and Sunday were filled with bridal showers. Both events dodged the rain and looked beautiful inside the finished barn.

Final Thoughts
Seeing the barn come together and hosting our first indoor celebrations reminds us why we built this space, to create unforgettable moments for couples and families. With construction complete and bookings rolling in, we’re excited for what’s ahead.
