Cody & Alexis Johnston
Owners
Cody & Alexis built The Grange Hall in 2022 after holding their own wedding in a similar type of barn venue in 2018. Cody spends most of his free time working on something at the venue. He is responsible for the day to day operations, project coordinator, set up/tear down, tours, questions and pretty much everything in between. Alexis helps with the big picture vision of the venue, the landscaping, flower bed and interior design decisions. Once you see the Bridal Suite in The Grange Hall you'll see the impact she has made on the operation. Cody & Alexis both are employed by Richwood Bank, run a security/IT company, and have a couple investment properties. Cody is a Director on the Richwood Independent Fairboard where he serves as President of the organization.
Rhett Johnston
Sales & Marketing
Rhett was welcomed to The Grange Hall a few months after we opened the doors in September of 2022. You'll see him on our social media pages as he is our head of the marketing team. His responsibilities include feeding the fish in the pond, picking his moms flowers from her flowerbeds and greeting all the new friends he makes weekly. You may also catch him putting his fingerprints all over the glass doors and windows or watching Spidey & Friends in the Grooms Suite while his mommy and daddy are working in the venue.
Jojo Freyermuth
Coordination/Bartending/DJ/Decorator
Jodie loves weddings more than she loves life! After being a part of the weddings that Jojo had coordinated, bartended and/or DJ'ed Cody knew she had to be a part of the Grange team. Her positive energy, organization and attention to detail, along with her past wedding experience makes her a crucial part of our business and it's future. Jojo is a past Grange bride where she married her husband James. She has a set of twin daughters and a son named Brantley. Jodie handles all of our add-on packages and our couples always are happy they asked her for help celebrating their special day!
Anna Lipps
Venue Manager
Anna has been with Cody & Alexis at The Grange Hall since the doors opened in 2022. What started as a way to get ideas for her own wedding that Fall turned into so much more. She has been a part of many, many weddings at the venue and knows The Grange like the back of her hand. Anna is our go-to person from cleaning the floors, filling in for tours, setting up tables weekly, and picking up supplies for us at the last minute, we would be lost without her. She is your go to person on your big day and will tell you how to hold your flowers and fluff your dress as you're walking down the aisle. When Anna isn't at The Grange Hall she lives in Marysville with her husband Jacob and two beloved dogs.
Tiffany Miller
Venue Manager
After attending an event at The Grange Hall, Tiff came to Cody and asked to be a part of the team. It has been a win/win for both sides since her first event. Tiffany's attention to detail is unmatched and she gives every wedding her all! Most nights at the Grange end with Cody telling Tiff "Okay, it's time to go home, we can clean some more tomorrow." Tiffany loves the Grange and would spend all night cleaning and hanging out if allowed!
Tom Johnston
Landscaping/Maintenance
Tom is Cody's Dad and Rhett's Papa. He spends nearly every Saturday morning mowing the property so it looks it's best for your wedding pictures. He is the resident farmer on staff who helps with whatever tractor or large equipment project is on the schedule for the week. You may see him walking the wildflower patches or spraying/pulling weeds around the venue but you probably won't see him inside. He is for sure a "behind the scenes" kind of team player who is often in the running for "Employee of the Month".
