Four work days for our builders this week led to a lot of progress being made on the barn, both inside & out! Our new back patio/bathrooms/brideroom are now under roof and waiting for concrete this week. This 2500 square feet addition will complete our barn and the patio will be finished with our black metal ceiling and also feature ceiling fans and more can lighting along with seating for additional guests!
After what feels like forever we also started hanging our board and batten metal on the inside of the barn on Friday. It is very tedious as it only covers 10 inches at a time but it looks amazing! We chose to go with a textured patten on this metal as well so that there will be less shine to reflect in the photos taken at your wedding. We have roughly 30 feet of that metal hung and just over 360 feet of walls to go. 😛
