Every great venue has a story, and for us at The Grange Hall, this chapter has been all about growth, comfort, and creating a better experience for our couples and guests. While giving barn tours recently, it hit us that not everyone follows Facebook or Instagram, so this blog is our way to keep everyone updated on what’s happening behind the scenes.
Phase Two Development at The Grange Hall Ohio
Over the past few weeks, we’ve officially moved into what we call Phase Two of development at The Grange Hall Ohio. One of the biggest upgrades is our brand-new 80×200 parking lot behind the barn, designed to comfortably fit about 45 additional vehicles. This improvement means smoother arrivals and better convenience for weddings hosting up to 350 guests.
We’ve also prepared the building pad for our upcoming covered rear patio, restrooms, and bridal suites. These additions will make wedding days more relaxing, organized, and guest-friendly. Our Amish construction crew is scheduled to arrive soon to begin building, and we’re excited to see these spaces come to life.
New Guest Parking Expansion
The expanded rear parking lot adds capacity for dozens of vehicles, reducing congestion and making guest arrival easier and safer. It ensures that larger wedding parties and families can move comfortably without delays or confusion.
Covered Patio, Restrooms & Bridal Suites
Our new covered patio and bridal areas are being designed with both couples and guests in mind. These spaces will offer privacy for preparations, better traffic flow during events, and protection from unpredictable Ohio weather.
Interior & Property Improvements
Inside the barn, progress continues as well. Materials for finishing the loft have started arriving, and the interior metal walls are next in line. These upgrades will improve both aesthetics and functionality, helping couples design receptions that feel elegant, warm, and comfortable in every season.
Outside, our partners at Bahan Excavating have been working across the property to improve drainage and layout. The east side of the pond has been built up to prevent water runoff into the fields, and our front parking area has been squared off to allow even more vehicles on each side.
Loft Finishing & Wall Enhancements
The loft upgrades allow for better lighting, airflow, and design flexibility for receptions and ceremonies. These enhancements support modern layouts while maintaining the rustic charm couples love.
Land Grading & Drainage Updates
Improved drainage and grading help protect the venue grounds, keeping the property safe, clean, and usable even after rain, something every Ohio outdoor venue must plan for.
Custom Fire Tables for Outdoor Gatherings
One of the most exciting additions recently delivered is our custom-fabricated fire tables. These are built strong, look incredible, and are already becoming a favorite feature. We can’t wait to see couples and guests gathered around them on summer evenings, enjoying cocktails, conversation, and the glow of outdoor ambiance that makes receptions feel unforgettable.

What’s Coming Next at The Grange Hall
Coming up next, we’ll be installing our septic system for the barn, with tanks scheduled to arrive shortly. Once that’s completed, we’ll begin leveling the land and transitioning into grass planting mode to restore and enhance the natural beauty of the property.
